Instant Pot says that any container deemed “oven-safe”
by it’s manufacturer is safe to use inside the Instant Pot.
This includes containers made from metal, silicone, ceramic & glass.
*NOTE: With any ceramic or glass material there is a risk of breakage,
even if it is labeled as “Oven Safe”. They can even break in the oven.
Many people use Pyrex, CorningWare, Anchor Hocking & canning jars
in the Instant Pot without any problems, but USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
If you decide to use oven-safe glassware be careful to avoid thermal shock:
Do not set a cold dish/jar on a hot surface; or hot dish/jar on a cold surface.
Do not set a dish/jar directly on the bottom of the pot, set it on a trivet/rack.
Also, do not use if you see any cracks or chips in your dish or jar.
The other consideration is “Will it Fit in the Instant Pot?”……..
-The dimensions of the 3qt inner pot are 7″ wide by 4.75″ high
so you can use accessories that are about 6” in diameter.
-The dimensions of the 5qt inner pot are 8.66″ wide by 5.5″ high
so you can use accessories that are about 7″ in diameter.
-The dimensions of the 6qt inner pot are 8.66″ wide by 6.3″ high
so you can use accessories that are about 7″ in diameter.
-The dimensions of the 8qt inner pot are 9.45″ wide by 6.89″ high
so you can use accessories that are about 8″ in diameter.
-The Dimensions of the 10qt inner pot are 12″ wide by 6.75″ high
so you can use accessories that are about 11” in diameter.
Keep in mind that the dimensions on most pans are for the inner diameter
and don’t include the lip, base, or any latch that sticks out from the pan.
You also need to allow about a half inch clearance around your pan so that
the steam can rise, and enough room for your sling or handles of the trivet
or whatever you are going to use to lift the pan out.

Can I use silicone stainless steel bowls (Wolfgang puck) in pressure cooker?

Jackie- Accessories used in the Instant Pot need to be “oven safe”. Since the bowls you mentioned are mixing bowls and not made for baking in I wouldn’t recommend using them in the IP. I’m not sure how heat resistant the silicone on the bottom of them would be.

What size replacement rings, inner stainless steel Instant Pot and glass lid fits the new Instant Pot Duo Mini, new to electric and pressure cooking.

Melinda, The sealing ring & stainless steel inner pots will need to be from Instant Pot & made specifically for the 3 qt pot. Word is that the sealing rings will be available around the end of Aug, but from past experience it may take them a little longer than that. I haven’t heard anything about when the inner pots will be available. They’ll be listed in the Instant Pot Store when they become available so keep an eye on the store: https://store.instantpot.com/
For the lid you can use any glass lid that fits on your pot which would be about a 7 inch lid. Check your kitchen before buying one, you may already have one that fits. The glass lid is only used for non-pressure functions (yogurt, slow cook) so you don’t have to worry about it sealing like you do when pressure cooking.
For other accessories (pans, bowls) you can go about 6 inches wide & 3 inches tall. You’ll be setting your pans on a trivet so you can’t go much taller than that. For cheesecakes it’s been confirmed that a 6″ x 3″ pan fits.

Someone contacted Pampered Chef & asked them if stoneware could be used in a pressure cooker, and this is the reply they got:
“Thank you for contacting The Pampered Chef Test Kitchens. We do not recommend using stoneware in a pressure cooker.”
